Friday Academic Club

Join us for an FAC!

***All necessary resources housed at www.sshspd.pbworks.com.  If you plan to attend, please visit the website ahead of time to get what you need!

Who: SSHS Teaching, Counseling and Support Staff

What: Informal professional conversations about topics generated via data analysis, staff goals and/or department meetings

When: Fridays at lunch, 11:45- 12:15

Where: Staff Lounge

Why: Informal times to collaborate are just as important as more formal times and there is so much to ponder, share and discuss when it comes to improving instruction and building relationships with students… lots of us need follow-ups on how to best utilize our new iPads in the classroom… time for professional conversations can be hard to find!

How: Meghan or Kevin or you will take turns facilitating… Meghan will seek out colleagues to share iPad apps, successes, dilemmas, etc. for alternating weeks… the weeks we seminar articles, you will have access to resources ahead of time so you are ready to discuss… resources will be housed at www.sshspd.pbworks.com.

Bonus:  For every six sessions you do, you can get three CDE hours toward recertification.  Attendance will be logged.
